Celebrate #NationalMargaritaDay with this list of the best Margaritas in Fort Worth

If you follow my instagram you know happy hour is one of my favorite sports. So when I found out there was a national holiday dedicated to celebrating one of my favorite alcoholic beverages I only had 2 questions…when is it and where are we drinking?

NATIONAL MARGARITA DAY is February 22nd which also happens to be a Friday. All the more reason to celebrate.

So I’ve put together a list of my ten favorite places to grab a marg in Fort Worth and lucky for you 6/10 are running KILLER deals tomorrow. Let’s begin...

Best Places to Grab A Margarita in Fort Worth

La Familia

$5 house Margs all day long. These margaritas are lit, literally. If you’ve seen my Let’s Get Lit blog post then you know that I am a BIG fan of the drinks here! It’s a cozy atmosphere and when the waiter sets your drink down and discretely LIGHTS IT ON FIRE, ya I’m sold. (bonus points for being a local small business)

Taco Heads

$5 Best in TX Margaritas, $6 Patron Shots, $4 Mexican Candy Shots, and tunes by DJ Ronnie Heart. You can’t beat these deals y’all! I love the Best in TX Margarita because it’s made with El Jimador tequila, Paula’s Texas orange, agave, and fresh pressed lime. It’s a classic.

Meso Maya

House margaritas (frozen or rocks) during Happy Hour from 4-7PM. Signature margaritas all day including Avocado, Serrano Berry, and Cucumber. I love their house margarita because it’s simple and to the point. If you’re looking for a classic, no bullshit margarita…Meso Maya is your spot.

Bartaco

Ernesto en Jalisco (2.22-2.28) tequila, luxardo maraschino, grapefruit cordial, lime juice, ruby red slice for garnish. This ‘Margarita March’ Bartaco is celebrating with a brand new limited edition flavor every week. It, appropriately, kicks off tomorrow on National Margarita Day with the Ernesto en Jalisco. I had the privilege of previewing this last week before it came out and y’all…it’s a good one. Don’t sleep on this!

Chuys

Specials all day long, $1 Floaters and $1 off Top-Shelf Skinny Ritas! FYI, they literally would NOT announce this special until 12:01am 2/22, I know because I stayed up to see what it was #dedication. Chuy’s has one of the best margaritas in town, IMHO.

Rio Mambo

Margarita Flight; 4 blended or specialty margaritas for $12.99. Can I get a HELL YES? There is not a bad margarita on the menu so sometimes it’s hard for me to choose which to go with. Enter, Margarita Flight. It takes the guess work out of the equation so I can spend more time focusing on what to eat and less time deciding on what to drink.

No specials but still serving up delicious frosty glasses of goodness:

HG Supply

No specials. If you go here you HAVE to try their signature Beet Margarita. I know, I know…it sounds weird but trust me it is life changing. Made with beet-infused lunazul tequila, lime, and rosemary turbinado. You may never go back to a regular margarita again.

H3 Brothers

No specials. Ok y’all, if you read my Female Feature Friday then you already know this but the Mango Margarita from H3 IS MY FAVORITE MARG IN FORT WORTH. I like to get mine to-go with an extra shot and walk around the Stockyards since it’s open container. Pro tip: the valet at H3 is free if you buy a drink so park there and spend the rest of the day boozing and shopping. Don’t say I never taught you anything. (bonus points for being a local small business)

Salsa Limon

No specials. You can’t go wrong here. They have Classic, Spicy, Strawberry, and Sour Margaritas. I may or may not have tried them all and can vouch that this place is legit!

Joe T Garcias

No specials. Need I say more? Joe T’s is a Fort Worth staple and FAMOUS for their margaritas that can make even the linebacker of a football team tipsy off a couple sips. These babies are STRONG but in the best way. And you can’t beat the ambiance! (bonus points for being a local small business)

And that’s a wrap y’all! I hope you all cut out of work a little early tomorrow to celebrate National Margarita Day, I know I will!

PS: You may or may not see me at one or more of these locations tomorrow and if you do please come say hi! I love meeting y’all! #nationalmargaritaday
