The prettiest cafe in London - Fait Maison

If you’re traveling in London, you HAVE to make it a point to stop by Fait Maison for afternoon tea. The cafe is whimsical and wonderful...from the stunning decor to the gorgeous food, it’s an experience to remember.

Join them for afternoon tea and you’ll be treated to homemade scones with strawberry jam and clotted cream, an assortment of finger sandwiches, filled brioche, and a selection of tiny desserts. Choose between a variety of loose leaf teas to accompany the finger food, and you’re sure to be in for a treat. Teas vary from the classic English Breakfast and Jasmine to Rooibos, Gunpowder Lemon, Spiced Apple, Rose, and more!

The executive chef and creative director, Om Waleed, uses Middle Eastern spices from Palestine and the Mediterranean to make sure her food is like nothing you’ve ever experienced in London. There’s a reason she’s been so successful in opening an expanse of Fait Maison locations throughout the UK- check out the list here! We dined at the one in South Kensington and I can’t recommend it enough. The ceiling was covered in roses and chandeliers, and I’ve  never had a more beautiful tea experience in my life.

Check out the list of menus for their various locations; menus do tend to change based on location, so if there’s a specific treat you’re looking for you’ll want to do a little research in advance! But I guarantee you’ll enjoy the food no matter which cafe you choose to visit- your biggest challenge will be deciding what you want to eat from the huge list of options! Fait Maison is perfect for breakfast, lunch, or tea, so come hungry and leave happy.
